This vintage Liberty of London Bauhaus No2 Cushion 20x10cm. This Bauhaus design encompasses the theme of the original design created during 1919 – 1933. A wonderful attractive design holds fast in our present modernist world. It is a fine example of the free design thinking of the Bauhaus Movement.

The Cushion colours are vibrant yet comfortable. The back of this cushion takes on two of the colour tones of this Bauhaus colourway. It is a wonderful Vibrant Blue with the Fiery Rust in single piping.  The piped edge is a Soft Terracotta again found in this colourway. Turn the cushion to the single colour for an alternative cushion arrangement. These seven cushions offer a unique collection. We love individuality and producing cushions that delight and comfort. Especially with beautiful vintage fabrics and in this case belonging to the unforgettable original Liberty Store in Regent Street London.

Liberty of London presented this design and colourway early in the 1980s. We created these cushions from our vintage fabrics collected over many Design Contracts. All our fabrics are new and stored in our studio.

The slub in the material is part of its natural beauty.
